Style of Play

Arsenal is known for its attacking and technical football, emphasising possession play and short passing. This style was particularly prominent under Arsène Wenger, who managed the team from 1996 to 2018.

Talent Development

The club’s academy, the Arsenal F.C. Academy, is one of the most respected in the country and has produced numerous players who have gone on to success both at Arsenal and for other teams and national teams.

Supporters and Global Reach

Arsenal has one of the largest and most passionate fan bases in the world, with millions of supporters across the globe. Its stadium, the Emirates Stadium, is one of the most modern and is regularly full on match days.

Innovation and Business

The club has also been a pioneer in areas such as data analytics and sports technology, and has a strong global commercial and media presence.

Social Impact

Through its charitable foundation, the Arsenal Foundation, the club is also involved in a number of social initiatives both locally and internationally.

In short, Arsenal F.C. is a club that stands out not only for its success on the pitch, but also for its focus on talent development, its global fan base and its impact beyond football.

The Camp

The main courses are football, where technique, tactics and game strategies are taught by UEFA-qualified coaches and the club’s permanent staff.

During the camp, they have a tour of Arsenal’s stadium and museum and also receive a full kit with official equipment consisting of shirt, rain jacket, shorts, socks and ball.

When they are not at the football sessions, students are taught English by native English teachers who are endorsed by the British Council.

Students can also participate in a wide range of social activities where they can meet other students from different countries around the world and learn about their customs. Events include weekly discos, quizzes and talent shows, etc.

All participants of the Arsenal F.C. Academy also have access to all the facilities of the residence.

Sunday is the day of admission to the campus, but activities start on Monday morning at 9.30am, with an introductory talk and practice of basic football techniques. Lunch is served at 12.15 and at 13.30 English classes begin. Dinner is served from 17.30 to 18.30 and until 20.30 the different activities take place. On weekends: on Saturdays there are full time excursions and movie night and on Sundays there are on-campus activities and evening games, both with dinner included on campus.

The two residences to choose from are:

Hatpury College: located on the beautiful Cotswolds campus, close to the spa town of Cheltenham and the historic city of Gloucester, where the Harry Potter film was filmed in its cathedral. The campus is impressive and is home to 2,500 full-time students during term time. The sports facilities are of professional standard and include a real grass football pitch, indoor sports hall and well-equipped gymnasium. Students are housed in private, single en-suite rooms on the actual University campus, in the centre of the campus and close to the dining hall and classrooms. There is also a common room for participants to relax and take part in the daily evening activities.

Queen Ethelburga’s College: Founded in 1912, Queen Ethelburga’s College is one of the most prestigious schools in Britain and is attended by renowned students. It is very close to the city of York, one of the most beautiful cities in the north of England and famous for its cathedral, medieval walls and the narrow streets of the Shambles. The city is two hours by train from London, Manchester and Edinburgh and the Yorkshire countryside. The college is a country house and is set in an enclosed estate of almost 100 hectares, with extensive facilities, sports fields, common rooms, swimming pool and cafeteria. The rooms have four beds, private shower, television and telephone. On each floor there are comfortable lounges with satellite TV and well-equipped kitchens.
